Label protection is necessary when products are used under conditions that are highly aggressive for the inks or the printing media. These are usually acidic environments, industrial applications that require high durability of the labels.
Lamination is a method in which a layer of transparent foil is laminated (adhered) on an already printed label, which aims not to change the look and colors of the label, but to protect it from scratches or harsh environmental factors.
Flood varnishes applied to the label can protect it from scratches during transportation of your product, as well as from bleaching of inks if the product is exposed to the environment and natural elements for a long time.
