Thermal Transfer Labels

Thermal transfer labels are a modern solution for durable and high-quality labeling across a wide spectrum of industrial products. It is a type of label which utilizes heat to transfer ink through a thermal transfer ribbon onto the label surface. The result - a print with exceptional durability and readability. Their resilience and diverse range of applications has made them a preferred choice by industrial manufacturers.

Thermal transfer paper labels

Paper-based thermal transfer labels provide an economical solution for indoor use and applications with shorter lifecycle. They show excellent results for labeling different types of surfaces such as corrugated cardboard, paper, packaging films, most plastics, glass, and metal. With high efficiency as its priority, inventory tracking is another field of use for thermal transfer paper labels.

Thermal transfer synthetic labels

Made from materials such as polyester, polyethylene, and polypropylene, the synthetic type of thermal transfer labels delivers higher durability levels against external influences as well as extended longevity. In rain, sunlight, and other demanding environments, thermal transfer plastic labels prove to be a trustworthy means of labeling.

Enhancements for your thermal transfer paper labels

Print embellishments for attractive labels

Adding special print effects helps create captivating labels and emphasizes important information. The right choice of effects is a great way to differentiate your brand among the other products on the shelf and improve the product`s visibility for your customers.

Protection against external factors

The appropriate choice of materials and protective coatings can significantly increase the label`s resistance to environmental conditions. Some finishes not only protect labels from scratches but also guard them against copying and counterfeiting.

Matte effect

Matte coating is a way to add a distinctive, yet elegant look to your label while reducing unnecessary glare. The effect proves especially useful for labels that are displayed in varying light conditions.

Spot varnish

The spot varnish print finish allows to highlight key components on the label such as logo or slogans. This effect creates contrast and draws attention to key details, helping your thermal printing labels stand out.

Protective varnish

Another print effect using varnish, which forms a transparent layer over the label surface, safeguarding it from abrasion and wear. This significantly extends label life and preserves readability even in harsh conditions.

  • A wide selection of varnishes
  • Metallized and holographic films
  • Diverse embossing effects
  • Eye-catching ink effects
  • Protective effects

Thermal transfer labels for your industry

Labels produced with thermal transfer printing are widely applied in multiple manufacturing sectors thanks to their flexibility and durability. These labels can be adapted to meet the needs of almost any type of industrial process and fit to your business` specific requirements.

Thermal transfer labels for Food products

Within the food industry, thermal transfer labels provide long-lasting product marking with high resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations. They are perfectly suited for labeling frozen foods, meat products, and other goods requiring specific storage conditions. The ability of thermal labels to remain intact in cold environments makes them a first choice of many food manufacturers.

Labels with thermal transfer technology for Industrial products

For industrial applications, thermal transfer printing labels provide durability to chemicals and extreme temperatures. They are well-suited for marking electronic components, tools, and equipment in cases when other less resistant labels would fail.

Thermal transfer labels for the Automotive industry

In automotive manufacturing, these labels are used for marking parts and components, vehicle identification, and labelling. Depending on their technical characteristics, they can endure different external factors throughout a vehicle`s lifetime.

Thermal transfer labels for Furniture

In furniture manufacturing, thermal transfer labels secure durable product identification, resistant to wear and tear. The information on the label can include data about the materials used, maintenance instructions for the customer`s use, as well as barcodes for the purposes of asset management.

Structure of a thermal transfer label

The structure of labels produced through thermal transfer printing include several layers, each serving a specific function:

  • Face material: the outer layer, onto which the main information is printed. It can be made from either paper, or synthetic material.

  • Adhesive: the middle layer which ensures the label adheres to the surface. The type of adhesive is selected based on the application and expected usage conditions.

  • Liner: the bottom layer which protects the adhesive before use and is removed when the label is applied.

  • Protective coating: the additional layer which can be added to enhance the label`s resistance to external influences

  • Print: created by heating the thermal transfer ribbon, which transfers ink onto the label`s face material
